Hydrolyzed bovine collagen is a protein and the basic building material of connective tissues (cartilage, ligaments, tendons). It has high digestibility and is an important element for strengthening the entire musculoskeletal system.
Glucosamine sulfate is the most widely used substance in joint nutrition. It is a source of glucosamine, which occurs naturally in articular cartilage. Together with chondroitin, it is responsible for the regeneration of joint cartilage and tissues and thereby contributes to improving the animal's mobility.
Chondroitin sulfate positively affects the metabolic balance of cartilage. It contributes to maintaining the flexibility and mobility of the joints. It also supports the use of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Increases the effectiveness of vitamin C.
MSM is a sulfur-containing compound (it is a source of organic sulfur) that occurs naturally in plants, animals and the human body. MSM is important for the proper incorporation of collagen in the cartilage. It plays a significant role in reducing joint pain and is a natural analgesic for dogs. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and detoxifying effects. It also has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin, coat, and claws.
Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) supports the structural functions of Chondroitin sulfate and MSM. It has a high antioxidant effect and positively affects the formation of white blood cells, which are of great importance in the dog's immunity.
Dosage
Preventive: 1-1.5g/day per 10 kg of weight. Administer daily for 3 months, then skip 1 month. Then you can continue feeding again for 3 months.
Acutely: For painful joints or already damaged cartilage, or in dogs under heavy load: 2–3 g/day per 10 kg of weight. Administer daily for 3 months, then skip 1 month. Then you can continue feeding again for 3 months. In animals with permanent joint damage, you can administer without a break.
Depending on the condition and degree of stress, it is possible to slightly increase the daily dose. These are products extracted from natural ingredients, which are not toxic to animals even in high doses.
It is ideal to sprinkle wet food with powder, e.g. granules poured with broth or oil.
